Meeting Description
Who
- we prefer an ability to shuffle a deck without dropping all the cards. Being able to count to 20 (sometimes 21) is also useful, especially if you can do it while leaving your socks on. Being able to distinguish between black and red is good too.
Why
- We're friendly, sociable, relaxed, and we don't play for money!

NEWER UPDATE: CHANGE in venue - we will play at John's this week, instead of Joan's. What a difference one letter makes!
UPDATE: We are starting slightly later this week, to accommodate our hosts' schedule.
We ARE still in rhythm with our 'weekly' rituals.... snacks / card playing / ordering out / card playing / snacks / beverages too / card playing ....
It's all in fun, and a very relaxed atmosphere. But, you have to watch out for those double runs! Joan still holds the record meld with 192 - double run, double pinochle, aces, and a side marriage. And she had two extra cards, as well!
However, we have a new high meld for a partnership - double kings opposite a double run, with a combined total of 248. And, Judy is still looking for a triple run.
